Another great Medal haul for Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do. A really big well done for all those that took part. Even for those that didn’t win it is a great achievement that they entered and had a go. As ever the Brighton & Hove guys dominated several divisions. It was a great day for competitors and spectators a like. Please remember to thank the Brighton and Hove Black Belts that helped out officiating and coaching on the day.

I would like to thank all the Black Belts from Brighton that helped at the two competitions this weekend. The National Team Selection Competition on Saturday and the Impact Colour Belt Open on Sunday. Both held at the new Sports Centre, Falmer, University of Brighton.
We had many of the Brighton Black Belts, some as young as 12 years, give up a whole day of their weekend to help officiate or coach at the competitions this meant we had two very successful days of events.
A special thanks to Katerina Avramides and Dave Vise who both did two full days. Without Black Belts officiating in this way it is impossible to put on such events. So a truly big THANK YOU to you all.

Taekwon-Do Impact Colour Belt Championships
Sunday 10th July 9.30 Start
University of Brighton Sports Centre, Falmer, Brighton
Registration is on Sunday 10th July 2011. If any competitor has not made their weight/height (or have been entered incorrectly) they may be disqualified from that event. Alterations may only be made at the discretion of TKD Impact and will incur a charge of £6. All competitors should register at the following times:
9.00 am Under 13’s
12.00 pm 13 yrs. and over
3.00 pm 18 yrs. and over
The cost for spectators is £5.00 for the whole day.
Under 5 yrs. go free.

National Team Selection Competition

On Sarturday 9th July starting at 9.30 am there will be the National Team Selection Competition run the by ITF England at the new Sports Centre University of Brighton in Falmer.
Spectators are very welcome; £5.00 (under 5′s go free)
There will be 6 x Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do Students taking part.
