Impact Junior Championships.

28th February 2009

To be held at Olympos Leisure Centre, Pasture Hill Rd, Haywards Heath RH16 1LY.

Registration:
9.00 am Under 13′s
12.00 pm 13 yrs and over.

Spectators welcome, £5.00 for the whole day, Under 5′s go free.

Colour Belt Grading at Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do

Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do School Colour Belt Grading

The next Colour Belt Grading is set for 4.45 pm Saturday 7th March at Stanley Deason Leisure Centre. This will be held in the “Main Hall”.
You need to complete and return your Grading Request Form before the 1st March.

all students should stay untill you are dismissed as Master Nardizzi often likes to give a short talk to students after their grading.

For sparring in gradings all Green Belts and above are required for safety reasons to wear full sparring equipment.

Brighton Black Belt Teaching in Romania.

Berta Norman who acheived her Black Belt under Mr Mayes at Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do School in March 2008, has been teaching Romanian children Taekwon-Do as part of her project while doing voluntary work in a small village in Romania.

Brandon Newman-Smith earns his Black belt

Brandon Newman-Smith, 15 years old, is awarded his Black Belt after 6 years of hard training at Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do School. Brandon started training along with his father and sister and they have all now achieved their Black Belts training with Howard Mayes at Brighton Martial Arts.

Martial Arts Family. The Newman-Smith family, father David and two of his children Courteney and Brandon, who started training at Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do School some 6 years ago have all now acheived their Black Belts in this dynamic martial art. This has taken alot of hard work and dedicaton as would be expected by anybody starting a martial art. All three often help in Mr Mayes’ classes in assisting at various times, teaching in the classes and officiating at various national events.
