Black Belt Grading Training Session
Some of the Black Belt and Red Belt Students of the Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do School who took part in the recent Black Belt Grading Training Session.
This special training session run twice each year to give students a better preparation for their Black Belt grading.

Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do Children’s Academy Classes on a Saturday Morning
Running every Saturday Morning for children aged 5-12 years.
9.30-10.30 for beginners, white belts, yellow tags.
9.30-11.00 for yellow belts and above.
At Stanley Deason Leisure Centre, Wilson Ave, Brighton
This really excellent class helps to develop your child’s Taekwon-Do skills and prepare them for their grading. Can be taken every week as a stand alone class or done occaissionally along with your other weekly classes just to boost your progression. In the class every aspect of Taekwon-Do is taught, all the grading syllabus, along with developing sparring, flying techniques and self defence. The class will also be great for furthering a child’s fitness and help develop them and prepare them if they ever wish to enter competitions.

Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do Summer School Classes
Don’t Miss Out On Your Training Over The Summer Hols
During the summer holidays there are morning Summer School classes for those aged 5-11 years, who want to maintain their training or even do extra training to improve their Taekwon-Do and their fitness levels.
These classes will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10-12 on the following dates:
10th, 12th, 17th, 19th August.
Knoyle Hall, Knoyle Road, Brighton
This is available to all students aged 5-11 years.
Cost will be either £8.00 per session paid on the day
or £14.00 for any two sessions pre booked and paid by the end of July,
or £25.00 for all four sessions pre booked and paid by the end of July.

On one of the days we will arrange to go into Preston Park for the afternoon to play rounders and other games. On this day the child should bring a packed lunch. Under 10 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the park activities. I will notify students the session before of the intention to go to the park. This will of course be weather permitting

Training focusing on stamina, pad work and sparring. A 3 hour training session especially for those that want to compete but also for those that just want to improve their fitness, gain more speed and sharpness and improve their overall Taekwon-Do.
The first 2 hours hard squad training followed by 1 hour focusing on competition sparring rounds.
